pride Media Association

Pride  Media Association has been an active Community Media Hub and Training provider serving communities across Rochdale Borough and further a field for over 14  years.

With the aim of developing people and communities through positive  use of the media, Pride Media Association has worked directly with over 3000 people, helping them to achieve I.T. and Media Skills, integrate these skills  into their everyday lives and assisting them to make some powerful media products representing their voices, opinions and messages.

Pride  Media Association works with local people and communities to develop a wide  range of creative projects utilising the very best community practitioners and practises to meet local needs.

Our repertoire of projects has  used the mediums of: Computers & Information Technology, Radio, Video, Music, Performance, Photography,
Animation, Web Publishing, Live Events, Graphics and Print
to create some fantastic products, events and learning experiences.
Traditionally our projects and activities have been completely free to access. Like many  organisations in the current, changing economic climate, we are looking at new  ways to fund our work, whilst at the same time maintaining the ethos of  providing activities that are accessible to all; particularly those most disadvantaged in our communities.

Alongside our work in the Community we  are developing some exciting, commercially competitive, Social Enterprise activities based around our work.  Our services, including Home I.T. Tuition, I.T. & Media Training for organisations, Design & Print and our Recycled Computers service help generate an income which is invested back into our work. Please help us by supporting our Social Enterprise Activities, and spreading the word.
